Job Type : Senior Architect (Part Time is available )

Job Description: As a Senior Architect at SachetPro, you will contribute to the overall design and architecture of our wireless products. This person will be responsible for developing device clients for SachetPro’s product line using C/C++/Java on J2ME, or PalmOS platforms. These clients support –SMS text messaging, localization. Keys to success: Strong programming background and several years of experience with software development for the mobile communication and embedded systems market. Self-motivated and able to work independently

Educational Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Software engineering, Science or Mathematics. MSCS or MSEE is preferred.

Skills & Required Experience: Minimum 3- 8 yrs overall software development experience Minimum 2 year (in industry) experience developing wireless applications using Java/J2ME technologies. Proven ability to turn ideas and concepts into carefully designed and well-authored code Knowledge of GSM, GPRS and UMTS Technologies and Networks especially with respect to mobile application development in the context of these networks. Good communications skills, Self driven, shows initiative and dedication. Demonstrated expertise of object-oriented design and implementation. Team Player, understands the company goals and actively contributes to their achievement. Brings in new ideas and tries to improve the software development discipline. Flexible in his/her working hours and eager to help with tight project schedules Is dedicated to remaining technical and hands on coding. Bonus Points for: In depth understanding of mobile device platforms, specifically: J2ME, Symbian, Windows Mobile and Palm. Java development in the Linux/Solaris environment. Hands-on experience with: -Network technologies (proxy servers, load balancers, HTTP, TCP/IP, UDP)-Scalable multi-tier services-Distributed computing -Internet technologies (HTML/XML, JSP, IMAP, Servlets)-Wireless technologies (WAP, SyncML, IMAP, iMode).
